The Word of God and Its Design

Isaiah 46:10: “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.”
God designed His Word and set it in order just like He designed creation and set it in order.
God made known the end from the beginning.

• The first mention of a word or number is the first link to a chain of
  revelation from God.


• Each link connects to the next link making the fullness of Truth.


• The seed of all Truth is in Genesis although it is hidden and must be
  searched out.


• The seed of Genesis progressively grows, blooms and blossoms at
  maturity (fulfillment) when all things are made new holy and spiritual as it
  was in the beginning before sin entered.(Revelation).


• So the Word of God is a circle where the first and last meet. Jesus said “I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Rev. 22:13 Because Jesus is not only grace but also Truth, all Truth is about Him from beginning to end.


• When Jesus was walking with two of His disciples down the road to Emmaus, it says He opened the scriptures to them on what was said concerning Himself beginning with Moses and all the Prophets. Luke 24:27, 32 They only had the Older Testament scriptures during the days of Jesus' walk on the earth. The New Testament had not yet been written!
  
  1 Corinthians 15: The spiritual did not come first but the natural, and after that the spiritual.


• God uses the “natural” to illustrate “spiritual” truths because He is all in all and all things were created by Him. So all things have a spiritual message from Him.


• God used the Godly men of the Older Testament to paint the spiritual Truth of redemption through               His Son
• Examples:

1. Adam was the first Divine Man in scripture.When Adam was lovingly shaped and formed by the Godhead, he was holy (without sin) and human. Jesus is called the Second and Last Adam. (1 Cor. 15:20-24, 45; Romans 5:14....”Adam who was a pattern of the One to come.”
2.  Noah was the righteous one who built the Ark of Salvation that saved his family from God's judgment.
3. Abel was the obedient Son who gave a blood sacrifice for sin and was killed by his brother.
4.  Seth was the Substitute Son who was in the image and likeness of his father and would carry on the spiritual line.
5.  Isaac is the Promised Son who willingly laid down his life as a burnt offering for atonement in obedience to his father.
6. Joseph is the Suffering Servant who went from the pit tomb to exaltation to the right hand of the throne.
7. Moses is the Servant/Ruler over God's people, priest, prophet,Lawgiver, Mediator between God and His people, Intercessor between God and His people and built the Tabernacle of God according to God's Word.
8. Joshua which means Jesus in Greek and Yahweh saves in Hebrew is the One who brought God's people across the Jordan and into God's Land of Promise.
9. David was a Shepherd in His Father's field who became a Conquering King with a Kingdom.
10. Solomon is the King of Peace and wisdom who built the Temple according to God's Word.
11. God used the “natural/earthly” Godly men to paint a picture of His Son Jesus.
